It tells the story of three very different families who are competing for the same 1920s Spanish-style mansion that they believe will solve all their problems. The exterior shots of the house are similar to the house Mitchell and Cam lived in on Modern Family. 6.8 rating, why? I would give it an 8.5 if I could. I saw her in 24 hours. Okay, it’s a little cheesy at times, but I really like the cast and acting, it feels warm and honest, and the murder mystery is interesting enough with a little twist, without it being sad and miserable. The story is light and entertaining, but there is some darkness due to the main plot. Like a nice, but not too expensive piece of dark chocolate covered in strawberry frosting. Give it a try and you won’t be disappointed. Don’t expect crime or realism. This is an engaging comedy with dark undertones.
